Six people dead in a road accident in Subukia

At least six people lost their lives in a road accident on Tuesday night in Subukia, Nakuru County. According to police reports, the accident involved a speeding cargo truck carrying timber.

The truck reportedly lost control and struck two people on a boda boda, killing them instantly. It then veered off the road, hitting several pedestrians, resulting in a total of six fatalities. The victims' bodies were transferred to a local mortuary pending autopsies.

Local residents have expressed concern over the rising number of accidents on the Nakuru-Nyahururu highway and are urging the government to conduct thorough investigations and take appropriate action.
