Morara tells kenyans that he is consistent on his task

Political activist and Inject Party leader Kebaso Morara has defended himself against recent criticism, asserting that he is simply fulfilling the expectations of Kenyans. In a statement on Tuesday, Morara emphasized that the people had urged him to remain consistent in his efforts to liberate the country, and that’s exactly what he is doing. He questioned whether the public had changed their stance after advising him not to align with opposition politicians. "Fellow Kenyans, you are the ones who told me to be consistent. Have you changed your mind? Are we still on the same page? You asked me to reject tribalism as a qualification for leadership. You told me to oppose the use of stolen funds in campaigns. You asked me not to recycle old, failed politicians into government. You said you wanted young, transformative leadership. Have you changed your mind? I am simply doing what you asked of me," he said. Morara was responding to critics who accused him of associating with th...

Ongoing Dispute Over Lang’ata Cemetery Highlights Longstanding Issues The ongoing standoff between the Ministry of Health and the Nairobi County Government regarding Lang’ata Cemetery is just the latest chapter in a series of controversies that have plagued the public burial site over the years. From being misused as a human waste dumping ground by a rogue developer in 2020 to the current health concerns surrounding its operation, the Lang’ata Cemetery has long struggled to maintain dignity and order. Though declared full in the early 2000s by the now-defunct Nairobi City Council, the cemetery has never been formally closed, resulting in the current overcrowding and the stacking of bodies in shallow graves. Last week, Public Health Principal Secretary Mary Muthoni told a parliamentary caucus that the facility must be shut down, citing serious public health threats. “Nairobi County must ensure all operations at Lang’ata Cemetery comply with health regulations to prevent dise...
