Suspect collapses and dies in a cell
Police and the Free Policing Oversight Authority are examining the passing of a man who had been captured and booked at the Kamukunji cells, in Nairobi.Boniface Mutembei had been reserved over cases of untidy lead nearby.He was captured on May 29 night in the city and later reserved in the cells. Other fellow prisoners had told the officials at the report office the departed was grumbling he was debilitated. On Thursday morning, Mutembei is said to have fallen in the cells. This was after he supposedly shook and began to encounter epileptic seizures. The other fellow prisoners yelled for help and police on the job raced into the cells where they found him resting oblivious however relaxing. He was hurried to Kenyatta Public Clinic where he was articulated dead. The body was moved to the funeral home forthcoming examination and different examinations.Nairobi police supervisor Adamson Bungei said they are exploring the episode, which he named lamentable.
